The TRAM also provides
the user with a solid anchor and hand-hold that moves with them where ever
they go. The TRAM Safety System is designed so that the user is firmly
attached to the unit at all times and is prevented from falling in the event
of a slip or trip. It can take over 600kg of force.
How does it work?
The TRAM (Total
Restraint Access Module) is specifically designed to enable personnel to
safely move from the access ladder to the tanker top and then along the top
of the tanker to any point along its length - see steps 1 - 3 (left).
